Rwanda Safari
Rwanda Safaris
Rwanda Safaris, popularly known as the home of a thousand hills, is a small landlocked country in Eastern central Africa. The capital city of Rwanda is Kigali, where the international airport can be found. Rwanda shares borders with Uganda in the north, Burundi in the south, Tanzania in the east, and the Democratic Republic of Congo in the west.
It might be small but has a lot to offer, like the beautiful landscapes, temperate climate and rich green vegetation. Rwanda has five volcanoes known as the Virunga Mountains, 23 lakes, including Lake Kivu and the twin lakes Burera and Ruhondo, as well as several rivers.
These amazing volcano mountains and thick tropical forests are mainly in the north of the country; thus, the gorillas are in this region, while gentle hills and valleys, calm lakes and turbulent rivers in both savannah and dense tropical vegetation can be found in the rest of the country. It might not be the richest country economically but scenery- and culture-wise, it could be highly ranked.
Rwanda’s biggest strength is that it is one of the only 3 countries with mountain gorillas in the world alongside Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Rwanda’s biggest export however is coffee and tea, which is very rich and its growth is favored by the topography of the country.
The people of Rwanda are so hospitable and have togetherness, which makes this destination warm and inviting for visitors. Their culture is rich and yet so calm, like the people of Rwanda. The smiles a visitor receives from the moment they step foot in Kigali, Rwanda, are so refreshing, like the air in this beautiful country.
Rwanda is a very safe and clean country where Kigali is recognized as one of the cleanest cities in the world. The weather in this country is so cool and temperate and this welcomes visitors from all over the world. The amazing rising from its tragic past of the 1994 Rwanda genocide time is also one story and experience to look forward to.
The change is really impressive and the growth is moving at a rather remarkably fast pace. Another great thing about Rwanda is that American citizens are not required to have a visa to visit if they are spending less than 90 days in the country.
