This Safari starts and ends in Arusha town. It will take you to Arusha National Park, which is located in the northeastern part of Tanzania. Arusha National Park is one of the smallest but most visited national parks in the country.
During the 2-day safari, you will engage in interesting activities such as a guided nature walk, game drive, and canoeing on the small Momella Lake, where you will have spectacular views of different animals like elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, giraffes, zebras, red duiker, waterbucks, bushbucks, leopards, hyenas, and different bird species.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Arusha National Park
To begin your safari, our driver guide will pick you up from the hotel in Arusha town, brief you about the safari, and then start the journey to Arusha National Park in northeastern Tanzania. The journey takes about one hour, and upon arrival, you will go for a nature walk briefing, after which you will be allocated an armed park guide to protect you and an experienced park guide who is well conversant with walking trails in the park.
During the guided nature walk, you will follow various trails such as trails to Ngurdoto crater, Kitoto to Njeku viewpoint, Momella gate to Ikikoni, Tululusia waterfall, and Ujambo wa Mbogo area, where you will have beautiful views of the landscape, get up close and personal with animals like elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and warthogs in their natural habitat, view colorful bird species, feel the cool breeze, breathe fresh air, relax your mind, listen to sweet bird sounds, take great pictures, among others. After the guided nature walk, you will drive back to the lodge for lunch.
Canoeing; after lunch, you will go for an amazing canoe ride on the small Momella Lake with an experienced guide who will help you to paddle along the lake. Canoeing activity is done in a wooden dug-out canoe, and during this amazing activity, you will be able to ride meters away from animals like warthogs, giraffes, buffaloes, waterbucks, zebras drinking water along the lake shores, view hippos in water, aquatic bird species like herons, pelicans, fish eagles, flamingos, cormorants, among others. After the canoe ride, you will go for a short game drive in the park, where you will spot animals like dik dik, giraffes, reedbucks, zebras, among others. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Morning game drive and departure to Arusha town
Morning game drive; on the last day of the 2-day Arusha National Park safari, you will have an early breakfast and meet up with your driver guide to go for a morning game drive in the park. The game drive is done in the open savannah grasslands, where you will follow different tracks such as the Serengeti Ndogo game track, where you will have views of animals like zebras, giraffes, red duikers, waterbucks, dik dik, reedbucks, bush pigs, predators like leopards, wildcats, hyenas, if you are lucky, primates like red colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, among others.
During the game drive, you will also drive to Momella Lakes and Ngurdoto Crater, where you will have spectacular views of animals like hippos in water, other animals like buffaloes, giraffes, and warthogs drinking water along the shores, different water birds, among others. After the game drive, you will drive back to the lodge for lunch.
Departure to Arusha town, after lunch, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Arusha town, and upon arrival, your driver guide will either drop you off at the hotel or the airport for your departure flight.
