8 Days Kenya Wildlife & Uganda Gorilla Safari
An 8 Days Kenya Wildlife & Uganda Gorilla Safari typically designed to lead to Kenya for wildlife adventures and Uganda for gorilla trekking. The Kenya part will visit the Maasai Mara National Reserve, known for hosting the annual Great Migration and an exceptionally high density of predators, including lions, leopards and many others.
Then take a visit to Uganda through a flight connection from Entebbe Airport to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi National Park is famously known as home to the highest population of mountain gorillas in the world.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival to Nairobi and Pickup
Pick up: Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport, our skilled safari guide will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel in Nairobi for dinner and night sleep at La Maison Royale Hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to Maasai Mara – Evening game drive
Transfer to Maasai Mara: After an early breakfast at the hotel, you will transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch and rest a bit at the lodge. Later, you will drive for an evening game drive. Thereafter, drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at AA Mara Lodge.
Day 3 & 4: Full-Day Game drives
Full-Day Game Drives: Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the camp before embarking on both morning and afternoon game drives with your packed lunch boxes. During your game drive, expect to explore big herds of lions, leopards, elusive cheetahs, elephants, Thomson’s gazelles, wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas, Topis, spotted hyenas, zebras, giraffes, and baboons, among others. After, you will return back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay as above.
Day 4: Hot Air Balloon Safari
Hot Air Balloon Safari: Wake up and have an early breakfast served at the lodge before heading for a hot air balloon safari. You will enjoy an aerial view of the wildebeest migration crossing from Serengeti National Park in Tanzania via the Mara River.
Note: The annual wildebeest migration event tends to happen from July to Mid-October.
Day 5: Transfer to Entebbe
Fly to Entebbe; Enjoy a yummy breakfast before flying to Entebbe Airstrip via Kisumu for immigration. This flight is in a smaller aircraft and helps us to avoid the travel via Nairobi. Depending on arrival time, you can connect to Bwindi National Park by a domestic flight ‘’Aero link Uganda’’ to Kihihi Airstrip. Or You will have a night sleep in Entebbe at Best Western Resort Hotel Dinner
Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
After an early breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Southwestern region to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey offers spectacular views of the countryside, vegetable markets along the road, and craft shops, with a stop at the equator in Kayabwe for a photo shoot. After the equator experience, continue with a stopover in Mbarara for an en-route lunch. After having lunch, proceed to drive to Bwindi. On arrival, you will check in at the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Buhoma Haven Lodge—Midrange.
Day 7: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Enjoy an early morning breakfast before heading for the gorilla trekking briefing at park headquarters. After briefing, go meet your ranger guide to lead you through forest trails in search of gentle giants in their natural environment.

Once finding the gorilla family, you will be given an hour to spend with them, watching and learning about their behavior and habits, among others. After an encounter, you will be driven back to the lodge to relax or opt to go for a Batwa culture visit. Dinner and an overnight stay as above.
Day 8: Transfer to Entebbe
Transfer to Entebbe: Enjoy breakfast at leisure before departing back to Entebbe with a stopover at the Equator for picture taking and picnic lunch. Proceed to Entebbe for your flight departure.
