Mikumi National Park is one of the largest Tanzania national parks located in the southern circuit of Tanzania, which also includes Nyerere National Park from Selous Game Reserve, Ruaha National Park and Katavi National Park.

To enjoy the beauty on a Mikumi National Park safari, there are a number of fees that one has to consider.

The various park fees are levied by the Tanzania National Park Authority, TANAPA, the body responsible for a number of Tanzania national parks, including the northern sector parks of Serengeti National Park, Tarangire National Park, and Lake Manyara National Parks, among other Tanzania national parks.

The Park fees are charged per person per day and are categorized according to one’s resident status. There are three different kinds of categories considered by the Tanzania National Park Authority: foreign non-residents, Tanzania residents, and East Africa Community citizens. In addition, age is a factor that is to be considered: those 16 years and above are adults, those 5 to 15 years are children, while persons below 5 years are exempted from paying park fees.
